Official Tree and Flower of Colerain Township

In an effort to create a better quality of life for residents of Colerain Township, the Colerain Township Business Association, in conjunction with their seasonal beautification awards, conducted a Township-wide poll in 2000 to select an official tree and perennial flower for the Township.  The beautification committee compiled a list of plants that were selected for their hardiness, adaptability to our environment, and of course for their ornamental appeal knowing that they will work well within the Township's residential and commercial landscapes.  The tree and the perennial flower that were chosen have been used to promote public awareness of our greenspaces throughout our community.
