  • Household/Auto Batteries

  • Prescription Drugs

  • Fire Extinguishers

  • Propane Tanks

  • Mercury

  • Fluorescent Bulbs

  • Driveway Sealer

  • Gasoline

  • Antifreeze

  • Motor Oil

  • Thermostats

*Dry out unusable latex or oil-based  paint, or driveway sealant with sawdust or cat litter and place with regular garbage collection.

  • Radioactive Materials

  • Medical Waste

  • Explosives/Ammunition

  • Gun Powder

  • Heating Oil Tanks

  • Tires

  • Yardwaste

  • Smoke Alarms

  • Garbage

  • Roofing Materials

  • Appliances

  • Computers/Electronics

  • Fuel Tanks


Packing Tips

  • Drop off items only during the days and times listed.

  • Leave Materials in original containers.

  • Line bottoms of cardboard boxes with newspaper.

  • Pack like products together.

  • Haul materials in trunk to minimize odors.

  • Bring proof of Hamilton County Residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill.

 

Caution!

Some materials react with others, producing violent reactions or toxic gasses.  Keep all products in original containers, seal properly, and handle carefully to prevent leaks and spills.

 

Restrictions:

Federal law bans the acceptance of hazardous materials from commercial sources, contractors, businesses or schools during residential collections.
