Colerain Community Association

Six of the Original Members of CCA
Colerain Community Association was formed and began work in June of 1998 by former Trustee Diana Lynn Rielage in an effort to make sure Colerain's visible, public areas were always well-groomed and maintained. The group, which currently has about sixty members, is comprised of business professionals, teachers, community leaders, members of high school honor societies, and many more who come to the group with varied interests, experiences and motivations for participation. Members maintain property at Colerain Avenue and I-275, Hamilton Avenue and I-275, and Ronald Reagan at Colerain Avenue. There are nine gardens altogether, including an area designed as part of the Ohio Legacy of Trees program that features 37 trees and 14,000 daffodils.
"We pick up litter, plant flowers, weed, mulch, and maintain these areas on a regular basis," said Pat Newberry, past-president of the Community Association. "It is our goal to develop a sense of pride in our community."

The Community Association receives financial support from local businesses and raises funds through concessions at the Taste of Colerain and Colerain Fire Expo. Membership in the organization is $5 to cover the cost of a t-shirt. The Group meets one Saturday a month to pick up litter in the areas they maintain. If you would like to join, please call the Township Administration Building at 385-7500.
