Bernard "Bernie" Fiedeldey, along with four of his five children and his six grandchildren, has been a long time resident of Colerain Township. Bernie, who grew up in North College Hill, has also owned and operated a steel manufacturing business here in the Township for the last 27 years.
Bernie has been an active participant in the community. As a member of the Colerain Township Greenspace Committee representing the Friends of the Great Miami, a grassroots citizens' organization affiliated with Rivers Unlimited, he initiated the Greenspace Conservationist program. The program recognizes Colerain Township landowners who have pledged to leave their land undeveloped, thereby preserving the rural atmosphere of our community. So far, the Township has more than one square mile of land preserved in the program and is working diligently to add more!
