2009 Schedule

 

Fifth Third Bank 5K Run/Walk:

Registration: 6:30 a.m.

Start: 8:00 a.m.

Free Children's Race:  9:00 a.m.

Trophies: 9:30 a.m.

• On-site parking is available in the front lot of the Senior & Community Center.  All cars must be removed by 11:30 a.m.

 

 Shuttle Service, sponsored by Rumpke:

From Colerain Middle School & Colerain High School:  5:00 p.m.-Midnight

From Northgate Mall Parking Garage:  5:00 p.m.

• There will be no on-site parking after the morning 5K Run/Walk.

• Access transportation will be available from all shuttle locations.
  
  

Springdale Road Closure:

5:30 p.m. to midnight

• Springdale Road at Poole Road To 3730 Springdale Road (Flattop Drive)

• On Yellowwood Drive from Springdale Road to Timbleglen Drive

Road closing sites will be staffed with Colerain Township Police officers.   Residents and their guests will be allowed access to their home if it falls within the road closed boundary until 9:30 p.m.  No vehicular traffic will be allowed in the road closed area from 9:30 p.m. until after the conclusion of the fireworks until all pedestrian traffic has cleared and Springdale Road is reopened by Colerain Township Police Department.  Any vehicle within the closed road area between 9:30 p.m. until the reopening of the road will be in violation of disregarding a traffic control device ORC §4511.12 and will be subject to a traffic violation carrying a $100 fine.  The road will be re-opened at Midnight.

 

Food & Beverages:

Available from 6:00-10 p.m.

Reminder: No coolers allowed.

 

Children's Activities:

Free activities including a balloon artist, air brush tattoo, sand art, bracelet making, Uncle Sam on stilts, free flags and more from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

 

 

Entertainment Stage:

Local Entertainment:  Wayward Son -  6:00-7:45 p.m.

National Entertainment:  Survivor  - 8:30-9:45 PM
